Workshop Recap: Innovation City RAK

What RAK Business Owners Built at Our AI Marketing Agent Workshop

Google Opal. Brand rules. Philosophy-driven copy. All in 3 hours.

On June 10, 2026, 40 small business owners at Innovation City Ras Al Khaimah built a working AI marketing agent from scratch. Each participant left with a live Google Opal flow that generates social media copy, image prompts, and video briefs on demand, governed by their own brand rules and marketing philosophy.

The AI marketing agent workshop at Innovation City Ras Al Khaimah was designed around a single principle: participants should leave with something that works, not something they still need to finish. Every module built toward the same destination, a live Google Opal flow saved to their own Google account, ready to run the next morning.

The workshop was structured across three modules. Module 1 covered brand positioning and marketing philosophy selection. Module 2 covered HVCO title frameworks and brand voice rules. Module 3 was the live build on Opal, where every input from the first two modules became a node in a working AI agent. By the final hour, 40 business owners were running their first AI-generated campaign.

The Reason

Why We Ran This Workshop

Most AI marketing conversations in the UAE happen at the brand level. Small business owners are left watching. This workshop changed that by giving RAK SMEs a working tool, not a theory lecture.

The Gap

Why is AI still a brand-level conversation in the UAE?

Most AI marketing tools are built for enterprise teams with dedicated budgets and technical staff. The 40-person SME in RAK running a beauty shop or logistics consultancy has no equivalent entry point. This workshop was that entry point.

The Opportunity

How does Google Opal remove the barrier for SMEs?

Google Opal is a no-code AI agent builder accessible via any Google account. It allows any business owner to build a connected workflow of AI nodes without writing a single line of code. The workshop was built around this tool specifically because the barrier to entry is a laptop and a Google login.

The Outcome

Leave with something that runs

The goal was not a certificate or a slide deck. The goal was a working Opal flow, saved to the participant's own Google account, that generates a complete campaign package, copy, image prompts, and a video brief, from a single product input. Every module was designed around that single deliverable.

The Audience

Who Joined Us in Ras Al Khaimah

The room held a wide cross-section of the RAK business community, B2B and B2C, product and service, solo operators and small teams. That range made the philosophy selection exercise more valuable, not less.

Service businesses

Consultants, legal and accounting firms, logistics operators, and marketing agencies who rely on trust and authority signals. Most fell into Pragmatist or Stoic philosophy territory during the Module 1B exercise.

Retail and product brands

Fashion, beauty, and specialty goods businesses selling direct to consumers in the UAE. These participants gravitated toward Hedonist and Aspirational philosophies during the selection exercise, producing noticeably different Opal outputs from their service-based neighbours.

Food and hospitality

Cafe owners, restaurant operators, and catering businesses in Ras Al Khaimah who compete primarily on reviews, photos, and local visibility. The Pop Culture and Hedonist philosophies mapped naturally to this segment during Module 1B.

Digital and creative professionals

Freelancers, agency owners, and social media managers who attended to understand how to build Opal flows for their own clients, not just for their own brands. This group was the most technically engaged during Module 3.

Workshop Structure

The Three Modules Explained

Each module produced a concrete output that fed directly into the next. By the time participants opened Opal in Module 3, every input field in their agent was already answered by the work they had done in Modules 1 and 2.

1

What Did Module 1 Cover?

Participants began with the B2B versus B2C positioning decision, a choice most had never made explicitly. They then worked through a 2x2 buyer behaviour grid to identify whether their customers make decisions emotionally or rationally. From there, the workshop introduced the seven marketing philosophies and participants selected the one that best describes how their best customers actually decide, not how they wish they would.

The module closed with the positioning statement exercise, using the formula: We help [specific person] who struggles with [specific pain] to achieve [specific transformation] without [the thing they fear most]. Every participant wrote a complete statement before the break. This statement became the first line of their Opal asset file.

2

What Did Module 2 Cover?

Module 2 introduced the HVCO framework. HVCO stands for High Value Content Offer, a piece of standalone value so useful that receiving it builds genuine trust before any sales conversation. Participants learned the three laws of a great HVCO title and worked through all seven HVCO formulas, each grounded in relatability rather than hype. The module closed with the five brand voice rules exercise: tone word, sentence length, three forbidden phrases, CTA style, and cultural anchor.

By the end of Module 2, every participant had a completed Brand Identity File containing their positioning statement, philosophy selection, HVCO title, and five voice rules. This file was the primary upload asset for their Opal flow in Module 3.

3

What Did Module 3 Involve?

Module 3 opened Opal. Participants uploaded their Brand Identity File and the two provided reference documents, the Philosophy Reference Card and the HVCO Reference Card, as governance assets. The agent was then built node by node: five user input nodes covering product name, product image, B2B or B2C designation, target audience, and marketing philosophy selection, followed by five generate nodes for market research, image prompts, image generation, video production, and HVCO title creation, closing with a single combined output node.

The philosophy selection node was the centrepiece mechanic. When a participant clicks a philosophy button before each run, the agent reads the Philosophy Reference Card and applies its tone rules, forbidden words, and example patterns to every downstream output. The same flow can produce Pragmatist copy for a B2B pitch and Hedonist copy for a weekend promotion, without rebuilding anything.

Module 1B

The 7 Marketing Philosophies Taught at the Workshop

A marketing philosophy is not a tactic. It is a lens that governs how your best customers make buying decisions. Identifying the right one changes everything downstream, from copy tone to visual style to CTA structure.

How Does Philosophy Work Inside the Opal Flow?

Each of the seven philosophies is encoded in the Philosophy Reference Card uploaded as a governance asset. When a user selects their philosophy via a button node in Opal, the agent reads the matching section of the card and applies all five tone rules, the forbidden words list, and the example pattern to every generate node downstream. The selection can be changed for each campaign run without modifying any node.

PhilosophyCore EngineBest FitExample Output Line
The PragmatistSolve a real problem. Prove it works. Remove doubt before presenting price.B2B services, consulting, logistics, legal"We reduced delivery exceptions from 14% to 2.1% in 90 days. Here is how."
The StoicCalm authority. Consistency over time. No urgency tactics, no trend language.Finance, insurance, professional services"We have managed client accounts through four economic cycles. We do not react. We prepare."
The ExistentialSell identity. Who does your customer become when they buy from you?Coaching, personal brands, education"This is not a course. This is the version of you your competition has not met yet."
The UtilitarianMaximum outcome. Minimum friction. Show the ROI before asking for commitment.SaaS, e-commerce, productivity tools"Cut payroll processing from 6 hours to 40 minutes. Setup takes one afternoon."
The HedonistSell the pleasure. Give customers permission to indulge without apology.F&B, beauty, luxury retail, hospitality"You worked hard this week. The only decision left is how you want to feel on Saturday."
The AspirationalSell the gap between who they are now and who they want to become.Fitness, fashion, real estate, education"The person you are training to become is already waiting. Show up."
Pop CultureCultural fluency as instant trust. Shared references build in-group connection.Retail, F&B, youth brands, local UAE market"That moment when your order arrives the same day. Every time. Not just on good days."

Participants also learned that the philosophy selection is not permanent. The same Opal flow can apply a different philosophy for each campaign by simply clicking a different button at the start of each run. A luxury hotel can select Aspirational for a Ramadan campaign and Hedonist for a summer weekend promotion, using the same agent and the same brand rules throughout. This was the mechanic that generated the most discussion in the room during Module 3D.

Module 3

The Opal Flow They Built

Eleven nodes. Two governance assets. One complete campaign output. Every participant built this flow on their own laptop during the workshop and ran it against their own product before the session closed.

User Input Nodes

What does the agent ask before it generates output?

Five input nodes collect: product name, product image (optional), B2B or B2C designation via button, target audience description, and marketing philosophy selection via a seven-button selector. These five inputs govern every downstream generation decision.

Generate and Output Nodes

What does the agent produce from those inputs?

Five generate nodes produce: a market research report with three ad copy variations, three social media image prompts, three generated images, a 15-second video brief, and one HVCO title. A single output node combines all five outputs into a formatted campaign page.

The HVCO Title Node

The HVCO title generate node reads the uploaded HVCO Reference Card containing seven proven title formulas and matches the correct formula to the participant's chosen marketing philosophy. The node produces one title only, no alternatives, no explanation. That title becomes the H1 heading on the combined output page. Participants who completed Module 2 had already written their own HVCO title by hand, which meant they could immediately evaluate whether the agent's version was stronger than theirs. That comparison was one of the most instructive moments of the session.

The governance layer is what separates this flow from a standard AI chat session. Two uploaded documents, the Brand Identity File and the Philosophy Reference Card, are read by every generate node before producing any output. The Brand Identity File contains the participant's own positioning statement, tone word, sentence length rule, three forbidden phrases, CTA style, and cultural anchor. The agent cannot produce content that violates these rules. This is what makes the output sound like the brand, not like a generic AI.

Titan Digital UAE publishes in-depth guides on GEO, AEO, and SEO strategy for UAE businesses and full-service digital marketing for UAE brands. The AI agent workshop applies those principles at the content generation layer, creating assets that are already strategy-informed before they reach the publishing stage.

The Takeaways

What Every Participant Left With

The workshop was designed around a single deliverable. Not a handout. Not a certificate. A working AI marketing agent saved to the participant's own Google account, ready to run the next morning.

From Module 1

A completed Brand Identity File

A single document containing their B2B or B2C designation, chosen marketing philosophy with rationale, positioning statement built from the four-field formula, and five brand voice rules. This file was uploaded as the primary governance asset in their Opal flow.

From Module 2

An HVCO title and voice rule set

Participants wrote three HVCO title drafts using the seven formulas, selected the strongest one with a peer review, and completed their brand voice rules. These fed directly into the HVCO generate node in Module 3 as the reference standard against which the agent's output was evaluated.

From Module 3

A live working Opal flow

An 11-node Google Opal agent saved to their own Google account. The flow accepts a product name, image, audience, and philosophy selection as inputs and produces social media copy, three image prompts, a video brief, and an HVCO title as a formatted output page. Reusable for any campaign without rebuilding.

Resources Provided at the Workshop

Every participant received the Brand Identity Worksheet for live completion during Modules 1 and 2, the Philosophy Reference Card for upload to Opal as a governance asset, the HVCO Reference Card for upload to Opal as a second governance asset, and the Opal Node Prompts document with all 11 node prompts formatted for copy-paste entry. An emergency auto-build prompt was also available for participants who could not complete the manual node connections during Module 3.

Questions and Answers

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about the AI marketing agent workshop, Google Opal, and the frameworks taught at Innovation City Ras Al Khaimah.

What is the AI marketing agent workshop at Innovation City RAK?

It is a 3-hour hands-on session where small business owners in Ras Al Khaimah build a working AI marketing agent using Google Opal. Participants choose a brand positioning, select a marketing philosophy, and leave with a live flow that generates social media copy, image prompts, and video briefs from a single input.

What is Google Opal and how is it used in the workshop?

Google Opal is a no-code AI agent builder that allows users to create custom workflows with connected nodes. In the workshop, participants use Opal to build an 11-node flow that takes product information as input and produces ad copy, image briefs, and video scripts as output, all governed by uploaded brand rules.

Do participants need any technical experience to attend?

No technical experience is required. Participants need a laptop and a Google account. The workshop is structured so that each module builds directly on the previous one, giving every attendee the knowledge they need before touching the Opal canvas.

What is a marketing philosophy and why does it matter in the Opal flow?

A marketing philosophy is a lens that governs how a brand communicates. The workshop teaches seven: Pragmatist, Stoic, Existential, Utilitarian, Hedonist, Aspirational, and Pop Culture. In the Opal flow, the participant selects their philosophy via a button node, and the agent applies it to every piece of copy, image prompt, and video brief it generates.

What is an HVCO title and how does the agent generate one?

HVCO stands for High Value Content Offer. The title is the headline for a piece of free value that builds trust before a sale. In the Opal flow, a dedicated generate node reads an uploaded HVCO reference document containing seven proven formulas and produces one title automatically, matched to the participant's chosen marketing philosophy.

What does a participant leave with after the workshop?

Each participant leaves with a completed Brand Identity File containing their positioning statement and voice rules, a working Google Opal flow saved to their own Google account, and the ability to generate social media copy, image prompts, a video brief, and an HVCO title for any product or campaign from a single input.

Can the Opal flow be used for different campaigns after the workshop?

Yes. The philosophy selection node means participants can switch their marketing approach per campaign without rebuilding anything. The same agent can produce Aspirational copy for a Ramadan campaign and Hedonist copy for a summer promotion, simply by selecting a different philosophy button at the start of each run.

Where is Innovation City Ras Al Khaimah located?

Innovation City is a business and innovation hub located within the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. It is designed to support startups, SMEs, and entrepreneurs across technology, creative, and knowledge-based sectors.

Is the workshop suitable for B2B and B2C businesses?

Yes. Module 1 opens with a B2B versus B2C positioning decision that shapes all downstream inputs. The Opal flow includes a dedicated button node for this selection, so the agent calibrates its tone, language, and copy structure to match the participant's business model throughout the entire generation process.

How does Titan Digital UAE support businesses after the workshop?

Titan Digital UAE is based in Ras Al Khaimah under RAKEZ and offers follow-on services including custom Opal flow builds, full AI marketing pipeline development, SEO, GEO, AEO, website design, and social media strategy.
