From RAK Entrepreneurs

“Big thanks to Kaan from Titan Digital Marketing in New York, Montreal and now Ras Al Khaimah for an amazing Google Business Profile and AI workshop. Our members discovered new rules, learned how to boost visibility and how to reach that Top 3 listing to grow sales. The dedication was unreal, with some business owners joining even though they were about to welcome babies soon. We will run this workshop again and launch a brand new AI workshop soon.”

The goal

Dominate the Local 3 Pack

The Local 3 Pack is the small map box with three businesses at the top of Google search. That is where most clicks and calls happen in Ras Al Khaimah and across the UAE. Your job is to send every trust and relevance signal you can to deserve a place there.

Act 1 · Foundations

Verification, NAP plus website, RAK service areas, SAB rules, categories. This is the base. Without it nothing else is stable.

Act 2 · Optimization

Services and Products, attributes, hours, photos, videos, Q and A, reviews. This is where you build trust and relevance.

Act 3 · AI and growth

Structured posts, AI workflow, prompt pack, performance tab, audit cycle. This is how you scale content and improve every month.

Foundation · Step 1

RAK video verification secret

In RAK and across the UAE, video verification is standard. Treat it as a short audit of your real world presence. If you follow this sequence, your chances of fast approval improve.

One take path

  • Start on the street facing your building
  • Walk toward the entrance and show signage
  • Enter and pan across reception or workspace
  • Show your trade license on the wall or at the desk
  • Keep the camera in landscape and move slowly
Speak during the video. State business name, full address, and mention that this footage is for Google Business Profile verification.

Verification checklist

  • Signage matches profile name exactly
  • Trade license name and address match profile
  • License is in date and readable
  • Current utility or telecom bill with same address available
  • Visible workspace that shows real operations
RAK video verification Google profile approval Trade license proof
Foundation · Step 2

Avoid suspension and fix NAP plus website

Most suspensions come from basic policy mistakes or messy data. Clean up your entity first, then add content.

Red flags to avoid

  • P O Box or virtual office as your main address
  • Different business names across website and profile
  • Keywords or locations stuffed into your business name
  • Random category changes every few weeks

The Core 4 · NAP plus website

  • Name. Use your real legal or brand name only
  • Address. Same format everywhere, including suite number
  • Phone. One primary number for RAK customers
  • Website. Same URL version across all listings and schema
Check your own site, social profiles, directories, invoices, and email signatures. Make them match.

SAB rules in the UAE

  • Hide your address if you travel to customers
  • Add realistic service areas you can reach in a day
  • Use neighborhoods such as Al Hamra and Mina Al Arab
  • Do not mix storefront and SAB rules under one listing
Foundation · Step 3

Categories and competitor mapping

Your primary category is your strongest keyword. It tells Google which searches you deserve to show up for.

Category strategy

  • Pick one primary category that matches your main service
  • Add only a few secondary categories that are real services you offer
  • Avoid adding every possible category just to test
Example. Primary category Restaurant. Secondary Italian Restaurant and Delivery Restaurant. No need to add many more.

Competitor spying steps

  • Search your main keyword plus RAK or neighborhood
  • Open the top three profiles in the map results
  • Note their primary and secondary categories
  • Capture screenshots of services, photos, and reviews
Align with what works, then do it cleaner and more complete.
Optimization · Services and offers

Services vs Products and the service showroom

Use Services to tell Google what you do. Use Products to sell those services as visual packages customers can click on.

Services · keyword coverage

  • List each real service customers ask for
  • Add short descriptions with search terms in natural language
  • Create location specific services such as “Al Hamra AC repair”
  • Keep pricing realistic and aligned with your website
Core services Location variants Emergency options

Products · service showroom

  • Turn service bundles into products with strong images
  • Use clear names such as “Emergency AC Repair Package”
  • Show “From” or “Fixed” pricing with what is included
  • Link each product to a landing page with UTM tracking
Example. “AC repair emergency package in Al Hamra. From 350 AED. Includes on site visit, diagnostics, and basic repair. Book online link with UTM.”
Optimization · Trust layer

Attributes, hours, and UAE special hours

Small details such as correct hours and languages can be the difference between a confident customer and a confused one.

Core attributes

  • Accessibility. Parking, wheelchair access if available
  • Languages. English and Arabic at minimum where true
  • Payment methods. Cards, cash, and local wallets if used

Business hours

  • Set realistic opening and closing times
  • Avoid frequent random changes to hours
  • Match hours on your website and social profiles

Special hours in UAE

  • Set special hours for Ramadan, Eid, and National Day
  • Update at least one week in advance
  • Create a post to explain how you operate in that period
Optimization · Visual trust

Photos and geo tagged proof

Authentic photos are your digital storefront. Customers decide in seconds if they trust you. Google also reads these signals.

Photo playbook

  • Exterior. Storefront, signage, entrance
  • Interior. Workspace, reception, treatment or meeting rooms
  • Team. Staff in uniform and natural interactions
  • In action. Work in progress and branded vehicles on site
  • Before and after. Show transformation where possible
  • Customer interaction. Greetings, handovers, real moments
Aim for at least one small photo update every week. Profiles with strong photo volume see more calls and direction requests.

Geo tagged photos · Hack 1

  • Turn on GPS on your phone at the job site or office
  • Confirm your location on Google Maps before shooting
  • Capture three to five quality photos per target area monthly
  • Upload from the Google Business app so location data stays
  • Use captions like “AC installation in Al Hamra” or “Office cleaning in Mina Al Arab”
Optimization · Video and AI

Short video trust and AI visuals

Short vertical videos make your business feel alive. AI helps you keep quality high even when you do not like to be on camera.

What to record

  • Quick welcome clip at your storefront in Al Hamra or your area
  • Team members at work with clear branding in frame
  • Customer handover after a finished job if they agree
  • Walk through of your space showing where customers arrive
Record in vertical format, add captions, and mention RAK or the neighborhood in your spoken lines and text.

HeyGen and AI subtitles

  • Use avatar videos for scripted explainers and service overviews
  • Create English and Arabic versions from one base script
  • Add auto captions since many people watch with sound off
  • Keep most videos in the thirty to forty five second range
AI workflow

Structured posts and AI content loop

Instead of random posts, work with a simple pattern. Use AI to turn real search questions into content with a clear structure.

Structured post mix · Hack 6

  • Geo posts. Combine service plus location in the title, mention landmarks, and response times
  • Emotional posts. Focus on safety, comfort, and pride. Use real stories and outcomes
  • Informational and offer posts. Share tips, small how to guides, and limited time deals
Target seven to nine posts per month across these three types.

AI workflow loop

  • Use AnswerThePublic with your main keyword and RAK
  • Ask ChatGPT for a clear summary and key points for one question
  • Ask ChatGPT to write a detailed prompt for Perplexity
  • Let Perplexity do deep research and export to Word
  • Upload the file back to ChatGPT and create a post plus image prompt
  • Use Gemini or your image tool to generate the visual
Repeat this loop weekly. You build a library of content based on what people actually search for.

Conversion layer

Q and A as a silent sales team

Q and A lets you answer objections before customers pick up the phone. Done well, it saves time and raises conversion.

Q and A basics

  • Add six to ten core questions customers ask all the time
  • Cover price ranges, service areas, timing, and warranty
  • Keep answers between forty and sixty words
  • End with a clear next step such as call or WhatsApp

Use AnswerThePublic

  • Search your service keyword plus RAK or area
  • Look at “how”, “what”, “where”, and “when” style questions
  • Pick the top five to seven that match buying decisions
  • Add those to your Q and A and to your content plan

Competitor review audit

  • Open competitor profiles and filter reviews by one and two stars
  • Read the last twenty to thirty negative reviews
  • Note repeated complaints about price, speed, or quality
  • Write Q and A answers that show how you handle those better
Social proof

Reviews, AI responses, and the short link

Reviews are one of the strongest ranking and conversion factors. Your job is to make leaving and answering reviews very easy.

Review system

  • Grab your short review link from the GBP dashboard
  • Save it in your CRM or operations system
  • Send the link by SMS or WhatsApp within twenty four to forty eight hours after the job
  • Thank the customer and explain that their review helps other local clients choose better
  • Follow up one time if there is no answer after a few days

AI review responses

  • Use AI to draft responses for positive, neutral, and negative reviews
  • Generate English and Arabic versions if your audience needs both
  • Personalize with customer name, service, and area before posting
  • Reply to all reviews within twenty four hours when possible
Continuous improvement

Performance tab and the audit cycle

Your Performance tab shows the search terms that bring calls, site visits, and direction requests. Treat it as a free keyword report.

Performance insights

  • Check the Queries section once a month
  • Separate discovery searches from branded ones
  • Note keywords that drive calls and directions most often
  • Watch for seasonal and location trends across RAK

Audit cycle · Hack 7

  • Export or record your top performing search terms
  • Feed these terms into your AI post templates and Q and A
  • Update services and products to include these phrases in natural text
  • Review categories and service areas at least every quarter
Summary

The seven untapped hacks at a glance

Use this as your quick reference. If you forget everything else, focus on these and you already move ahead of most competitors in RAK.

Hack 1 · Geo tagged photos

Enable GPS when you shoot. Upload three to five tagged images from each target area every month.

Hack 2 · Geo expansion

Add realistic service areas such as Al Hamra, Mina Al Arab, and Al Dhait. Avoid generic full emirate coverage if you cannot serve it well.

Hack 3 · Service showroom

Turn the Products section into a service catalog with images, pricing, and UTM tagged links.

Hack 4 · Competitor review audit

Mine one and two star competitor reviews for patterns, then address those gaps in your Q and A and posts.

Hack 5 · SAB done right

Hide your address if you go to customers, define realistic coverage, and stick to one model per listing.

Hack 6 · Structured posts

Use a fixed mix of geo, emotional, and informational or offer posts. Aim for seven to nine posts per month.

Hack 7 · Audit cycle

Review your Performance tab monthly and feed winning keywords into your AI prompts, Q and A, and offers.
